After months of mystery before the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S4, the results of the first tests of performance of what has become the new flagship of the South Korean firm have appeared One of them was conducted by Primate Labs with the application Geekbench 2, which is a tool used to measure the level of processor and memory performance.
Primate Labs has developed a comparison between different handsets, which include the Nexus 4, Galaxy S3, iPhone 5, HTC One and the Blackberry Z10. The tests results were posted on March 18 and revealed that the version of Galaxy S4 that will be marketed in the United States and Canada with the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 600, nearly doubles the performance of Apple iPhone 5 and Galaxy S3 .
Keep in mind also that Samsung has announced that it will sell the Galaxy S4 in two versions, the difference will be defined by the type of processor used: the Octa Samsung Exynos five eight-core, which is not available in all markets, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600. It is too soon to know which of the two is the more powerful processor.
Despite having the same processors, the Galaxy S4 also outperforms HTC One, the second on the list, with a difference of 500 points. The next device is the Nexus 4, which has a score of 2040 points. It is not until the fifth qualifying spot, below the Galaxy S3, that the iPhone 5 appears with an unimpressive 1596 points.
Let's wait for the launch of Apple's new phone, the iPhone 5S, to see if the new processor model achieves records made by its main competitor in the market, the Galaxy S4 .
