The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release date is just around the corner with an expected October release date in the United States. Sold separately, Samsung is also releasing it’s Galaxy Gear companion device, which can be paired with the Note 3.
The smartphone/tablet hybrid or “phablet” will available for purchase at all five major U.S carriers which are AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Verizon. Pricing and availability differ among all carriers. Here’s the release date and price rundown per carrier for the Galaxy Note 3 and also the Galaxy Gear smartwatch as of Monday (Sept.30):
AT&T: The Galaxy Note 3 will be available online at AT&T retail stores beginning October 4 for $299.99 with a two-year contract. Pre-orders are currently being accepted at AT&T online and orders will begin shipping on October 1. The Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch is also available for pre-order for $299 in Oatmeal Beige and Jet Black and ships October 1 and also arrives in stores October 4.
Sprint: The Galaxy Note 3 will be available at Sprint online and in stores beginning Oct. 4 for $349.99 with a 2-year contract. The Galaxy Gear smartwatch will be available for $299.99 in colors Jet Black, Oatmeal Beige and Wild Orange. Sprint is not currently offering pre-orders of the device.
T-Mobile: The Galaxy Note 3 will be available at T-Mobile on October 2 for $199.99 up front and then $21 per month for 24 months (no contract). The Galaxy Gear will also be available on October 2 for $299.99. Pre-orders are being accepted Note 3 only at T-mobile’s website, orders ship October 1. T-mobile did not reveal information about what colors the Galaxy Gear smartwatch will be available in. Although T-Mobile announced earlier this month that it will launch the phone on October 2, a T-Mobile representative stated that it can vary, depending on the store.
US Cellular: Although US Cellular is expected to carry the Galaxy Note 3 in the color Jet Black in October, no specific release date or price information was announced just yet. It’s unknown if they will receive the Note 3 at a later date in Classic White, or if they will sell the Galaxy Gear. More information should be revealed within the coming weeks.
Verizon: The Galaxy Note 3 will be available at Verizon for $299.99 with a 2-year contract, on or around October 10. Pre-orders for the Note 3 are currently be accepted online, orders ship before October 10. Verizon is only offering the Wild Orange Galaxy Gear in a combo package with the Note 3 for $599.98.
