Sampson Park/Faunce Memorial Park

Sampson Park aka Faunce Memorial Park is a great excape. One hundred and sixty acres of wilderness draws nature enthusiasts and dog lovers alike. The Bay Circuit Trail runs right through this enchanting forest quickly passing the Jones River before it heads into the depths.

The reservation lands are protected by The Wildlands Trust of Southeastern Massachuettes and The Kingston Conservation Commission who do an outstanding job.

There are clearings to have small get-togethers and picnics. There are two camping sites available first come first serve and camping deeper along the trail is also allowed.


Faunce Brook bubbles through these parts drying up during the dry season. Hence the name Faunce Memorial Park.


Directions:


From Route 3 take Exit 9 to Main Street/Route 3A North. Then Turn left on Brook Street/Route 80. Turn Left on Elm Street. The park and parking lot are immediately on your right. Open dawn until dusk. (781) 585-0537
