Rather than spending the day after Black Friday recooperating in your living room, why not head over to Public Square for some family fun?
Winterfest starts off at 3pm Saturday, November 27th, with carriage rides and a Radio Disney Holiday concert, leading up to the lighting ceremony for the Christmas tree in Public Square.
If you want to kick off the fun earlier, Progressive Field opens at 10am for Indians Snow Days. If nostaligia is more your speed, Higbee Holidays also starts at 10am in the Terminal Tower. More information can be found on the Cleveland Indians website, or at Positively Cleveland.
The real fun begins at 8pm, with the Winter Wine and Ale Fest. Located in the lobby at 200 Public Square, otherwise known as the former BP Building, the fest consists of holiday ale's from 11 different local breweries, and festive choices from 8 local wineries. There will also be food from Tower 230, and cheeses from Lake Erie Creamery.
The Winter Wine and Ale Fest is $40 per person. Each ticket includes 20 taste tickets and unlimited food. Tickets are available online here.
