"Jersey Shore" couple Sammi and Ronnie have not officially signed a deal for a spinoff of their own yet, but already the longtime couple is leaking hypothetical details of their show. “It would be pretty funny if we get a spin-off because what goes on on a daily basis with me and Ron is ridiculous,” Sammi gushed in a live Jan., 29 interview with Extra.
As Examiner.com was first to report last July, the reality tv sweethearts have been in talks for a SamRon show of their own for months. While nothing is definite yet, Ronnie Magro and Sammi Giancola say they'd love nothing more than to land their own show -- one where they don't have to share a house with six other roommates. "We would love to do a spin-off," Ronnie reiterated. “I think we had our Jersey Shore spin-off show — it was called Jersey Shore seasons 1 through 3!” he joked.
Ronnie says the couple would be interested in staying in the MTV family, but if it doesn't work out they would take the Ron and Sam show to another network. They're not the only "Jersey Shore" stars considering finding a new home. DJ Pauly D is also reportedly in talks with other networks for his own show, as MTV continues to drag its feet on whether it will pick up "The Pauly D Project Season 2."
MTV has confirmed a new talk show with Vinny Guadagnino. "The Show with Vinny" premiere will air in 2013, although no premiere date has been announced yet. The network that made the "Jersey Shore" cast household names is currently airing new episodes of "Snooki & JWoWW Season 2".
