Same-sex marriage is actually marriage inequality

The real issue of same-sex marriage, or “gay marriage” as some call it, is allowing just three percent of the population to redefine marriage from something entirely different than what the word has meant for thousands of years. But this is neither the first or the last agenda in which the far left redefine words that had a clear meaning for thousands of years in order to change not just words, but reality itself.

For thousands of years the word marriage has had a simple meaning: a union of one man and one woman. That is what the word marriage means, until the politically correct left decided they wanted to change it. At first they called “gay marriage,” that which they want to normalize, which is a union between one person and a second person of the same sex. Later, to give this credibility as being normal they it “marriage equality” while referring to what had always been marriage, the union of one man and one woman, as “opposite-sex marriage.” So by playing these games with words, the far left seeks to normalize the deviants to they can then also portray the normal as deviant.

The far left has been great at these politically correct word games. This is how they can rename taxes as “revenues,” and call excessive government spending under the fallacious name “investments,” and how the killing of unborn babies goes from being abortion to “choice” to the even more Orwellian “reproductive rights.” It's ironic when the deliberate snuffing out of unborn human life, ending the process of reproduction, is referred to as “reproductive” left alone rights, when the only rights involved are those violated, the right to life of the unborn human being that is murdered by abortion.

So the term “marriage equality” that is quite well promoted by the far left in its advancement of same-sex marriage is yet another example of these politically correct word games. For thousands of years we've had true marriage equality as well as no reason to use the term to call it what it is. Any man has had equal rights to marry a woman and any woman has enjoyed likewise equal rights to marry a man. By definition, we're talking the definition of a word here not a political agenda, marriage is the union of one man and one woman. Individuals can have any rights they want to any other kinds of relationships, but those relationships (again, by definition of the words) are not marriages. Call them partnerships or civil unions or three-ways or anything else, but they are not marriages. Promotion of a politically correct campaign with it's attempts to redefine the words doesn't make them marriages either. They are something else. I don't deny anyone their right to enjoy these other relationships and love the people or persons that are involved in them. To each their own. But they are not marriages and the political agenda behind this doesn't justify forcing on society the re-defining of the word marriage.

But there is a clear reason for this political agenda. They aren't seeking equal rights for those involved in these other kinds of relationships, they are seeking special rights for those involved in their relationships that those in “same-sex marriages” as they call them would not enjoy. Just this past week, actor Jeremy Irons pointed out how a father and son could exploit gay marriage “rights” by getting married and the father passes real estate to the son without paying inheritance taxes on it. This is just one of many not yet thought of unintended consequences that will come from the far left's “marriage equality” agenda.

I say we should stand up against the re-defining of the word marriage. Let them have whatever relationships they want to have, but not call them marriages. We need to demand we keep marriage keep it what it has been for thousands of years. They can keep the change.
