Sam Stephenson talk at Center for Creative Photography

The Center for Creative Photography is hosting Sam Stephenson for a talk titled "The Making of the Jazz Loft Project: Archives as Resource and Wellspring." This event will be at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, in the Center for Creative Photography Auditorium. This is a free event.

Sam Stephenson will discuss the Jazz Loft Project in the talk "The Making of the Jazz Loft Project: Archives as Resource and Wellspring." He is the director of The Jazz Loft Project at the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University. He is also the author of Dream Street: W. Eugene Smith’s Pittsburgh Project and The Jazz Loft Project: The Photographs and Tapes of W. Eugene Smith from 821 Sixth Avenue, 1957-1965.

About the Center of Creative Photography: The Center of Creative Photography is located on the U of A Campus just south of Speedway near the pedestrian underpass that is just East of Park Ave. The Center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
