If you are military, now you have a chance to go to Sam's Club for free. On Oct. 3, Spouse Buzz shared that they are offering military a free membership until the government shutdown of 2013 is over. This is a great way to help out the community.
Military commissaries are closed at this time which is making it hard for military who are used to shopping there. Sam's Club will let military come there until they open back up again. This offer is good for Active Duty, Retirees and anyone else with commissary privileges. You simply show your ID at the door and they will either just let you in or make you go get a free membership card. Either way you will be allowed to shop there.
The store does allow you in without a membership and you have to pay a 10% fee when you checkout, but this fee will not be charged to military. They will be treated just like they pay for a membership. It is great to see Sam's Club doing what they can to help.
