Sam Querrey takes to Twitter to answer fan's questions

Athletes have taken to Twitter like no other segment of the population.

Some of the most followed people on Twitter are athletes. Sports organizations and teams have realized that social media is not only great for promoting their teams and the athletes that amaze us on their courts and fields of play, but for making fans feel part of the action and it allows them to get involved.

Tennis fans cure their insatiable desire for everything tennis by following social media 24/7.

The ATP and WTA Tours do a great job every week with updating Facebook and Twitter with all the goings on of the pro tennis tours.

At the U.S. National Indoor Championships this week in Memphis, American tennis star Sam Querrey took to Twitter fielding questions on Wednesday afternoon for the tournament's hashtag, #Memphistennis.

Here are the highlights.
