Sam Hankins, Trumpeter, Musician and Teacher. Sam has two bachelor degrees and a master’s degree in Music and Music Performance. Music has always been a staple in the Hankins family. Each member celebrating life with vocals or instrumentals.
Sam began his love of music as a guitarist but switch to the Trumpet and its been smooth sailing so to speak ever since.
Sam has worked with numerous big name artists laying down his soulful sound on the tracks of artists such as the O’Jay’s, Aretha Franklin, Al Jarreau, the Temptations, the Impressions, the Dells, Clark Terry, the Glenn Miller Big Band and a variety of other work in music. For Lovers of Jazz music Sam Hankins is like a cup of Joe in the morning, hot chocolate by a warm or your grandmother’s pie after Sunday dinner.
