Former "Good Morning America" weather anchor, Sam Champion, recently had something else to celebrate besides his new job with The Weather Channel. The fit weatherman was photographed on a beach shirtless in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Thursday. Just Jared reported Dec. 26 that Champion was with his husband, Rubem Robierb to celebrate their first anniversary together. They were joined by other friends as well.
Champion tweeted this on Dec. 20:
“Shhhhh tmrw is our 1st anniversary! Best day of my life @rubemrobierbArt”
Robierb tweeted this response:
"Happy 1st year anniversary my husband. When I meet you I realized I have a heart."

Congratulations to both of them on their first anniversary!
Sam Champion left "GMA" to work on The Weather Channel. His last day with the ABC morning news program was at the beginning of December. He will be part of a whole new show on the Weather Channel that will considered a "flagship" morning show for the network that launches 2014. The former "GMA" host will act as managing editor at the network and will be closer to Miami, where his husband, Rubem Robierb, lives ("GMA" was based in New York and Weather Channel is in Atlanta).
