On Feb. 27, 2014, Sam Bailey announced details for her 2015 "The Power of Love" tour of the United Kingdom. The announcement was made on her official Internet outlets, such as her Facebook page. Tickets went on sale on Feb. 28, 2014. (See the tour dates at the end of this article.)

Bailey, a former prison guard, was the winner of "The X Factor" U.K. in 2013.

As part of her "X Factor" grand prize, Bailey got to be the opening act for Beyoncé at Beyoncé's concert that was held at the LG Arena in Birmingham, England, on Feb. 24, 2014.

After the concert, Bailey tweeted: "Well.... I did it!! It was amazing xx was anyone there? Beyoncé was incredible xx @Beyoncé."

As previously reported, Sam Bailey's first album, "The Power of Love," is set for release in the U.K. and Ireland on March 24, 2014.

Bailey's "The Power of Love" album consists almost entirely of cover songs. Her version of Demi Lovato's "Skyscraper," which is on the album, debuted at No. 1 in the U.K. in Ireland when Bailey's remake of "Skyscraper" was released in December 2013.

"Compass" and "There You'll Be," which were both written by Diane Warren, are the only two new songs on the album.

BBC Radio 2 debuted "Compass" on Feb. 18, 2014.

The rest of the album consists of songs that were originally hits for other artists, such as Jennifer Rush ("The Power of Love"), Jennifer Holliday ("And I Am Telling You"), Supertramp ("Lord Is It Mine"), Oleta Adams ("Get Here"), Bruno Mars ("Treasure"), Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell ("Ain't No Mountain High Enough") and Alicia Keys ("Superwoman").

Bailey is currently on "The X Factor" U.K. 2014 tour, which features the show's Top 8 finalists from 2013. The tour began on Feb. 15 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and ends March 29 in Birmingham, England.
