Even though the hit Nickelodeon show "Sam and Cat" is on hiatus and the final episode already was said to have aired, they have a little treat for their fans. There will be a brand new episode of the series that airs tonight at 8 p.m. The surprise episode is called #Knockout and deals with the theme of bullying.

"Sam and Cat" went on hiatus after a huge first season. With forty episodes under their belts, stars Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande are not expected to reprise their roles. The Nickelodeon hit was a mash-up of "iCarly" meets "Victorious" as the stars from each show brought their title character to the new roles on "Sam and Cat."

Rumors surrounding the end of "Sam and Cat" started when Jennette McCurdy's leaked photographs hit the internet. The photos showed a nearly new McCurdy in some pretty suggestive poses. It is unknown how the photos got leaked but many blame a bad break up with NBA player Andre Drummond.

Likewise, there is a pretty good chance that "Sam and Cat" won't be back because their star is, well, a star. Ariana Grande is blowing up in the music world and is wanted everywhere. She performed at the recent Billboard Awards and her new single "Problem" is all over the place. She is the hottest pop star of the moment. Ariana's recent performances with fellow musician Iggy Azalea make her one of the most talked about performers on the scene.

It is unknown where this new episode of "Sam and Cat" came from or why it is being shown now. Maybe Nickelodeon is testing the waters to see if it is worth paying the big bucks to keep the superstar around? There has also been some rumblings of a feud between "Sam and Cat" costars Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande. If that is the case, then truly it looks like the Nickelodeon hit is over.
