Boston Red Sox catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia could be back soon to the Red Sox lineup.
Salty is dealing with a lower back tightness, and is considered to be day-to-day. He has missed the last two games with the injury.
However, he says he is feeling fine and could be in the lineup this weekend.
The Red Sox play to split time between Ryan Lavarnway and David Ross until he’s able to return.
Last season, he had a .222 batting average in a 121 games. He had 25 home runs and 59 RBI’s.
