As mentioned in the March 7 game recap, Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) catcher Bo Fisher had a pretty good day at the plate. DHing in game one and catching in game two, Fisher finshed the afternoon with 2 G, 9 AB, 4 H, 1 2B, 1 3B, 1 HR, 4 RBI. Entering today’s double-header, the first-string catcher is .383 AVE, 12 G, 47 AB, 18 H, 3 2B, 1 3B, 1 HR and 8 RBI. Thanks to a bit of luck and the modern miracle of cell phone technology, Fisher’s solo blast was captured on video.
The Salt Lake Bruins will be looking for payback on Friday, March 8, as they face the College of Southern Nevada for another double-header. First pitch is scheduled for 12 noon at Cate Field, on the SLCC Jordan campus.
