Veteran actress of Gidget and Flying Nun fame, Sally Field, made quite an impression as she recently attended the 2013 New York Film Critics Circle Awards at Crimson on January 7, 2013 in New York City.
Sally Field, who just turned 66 in November, looked amazing in her lovely blue dress with wavy beaded detailing about the shoulders and décolletage, which she accessorized with a turquoise blue clutch bag and kitten heel pumps.
Field, however, wasn’t the only one wowing at the Film Critics Circle Awards, Jessica Chastain too had her admirers…
Jessica wore a black lace dress with cap sleeves, accessorized with a lovely necklace and black peeptoe pumps, leaving her red hair long and loose about the shoulders.
Mrs Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz, too wore black in the way of a lovely three-quarter sleeve embroidered LBD (little black dress), which she teamed with a black clutch bag and red satin pumps to match the red embroidery on her dress, her red lips and nails.
Actor Matthew McConaughey, still extremely thin from his recent weight loss for the sake of acting, looked well-put-together in his three-piece charcoal grey suit and black tie, topped off with a matching dress coat.
That orchid colored tie on actor Daniel Day-Lewis was gorgeous as was the lavender colored one on journalist Charlie Rose!
Biographer Doris Kearns, actress Emmanuelle Riva, filmmakers Steven Spielberg Allison Abbate and Kathryn Bigelow and screenwriters Mark Boal and Tony Kushner also attended the awards in style.
But back to Ms Field, who recently starred as Mary Todd Lincoln in film “Lincoln,” is also awaiting the release of “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” which is still in pre-production. Enjoy the slideshow…
