The Marion County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) is warning the public that a predatory sex offender has broken contact with his probation officer. Antonio Romero Griego, age 51, of Salem, has moved out of his residence of record at 2245 Maple Avenue NE in Salem without notifying the proper authorities. Because of that, there is now an active warrant for Griego's arrest on a Parole Violation.

Griego is 6'0" tall and 200lbs. He has brown hair that's graying at the temples and brown eyes. MCSO warns not to try and contact Mr. Griego directly. If you know of his location, you can call the MCSO at 503-588-5032. You are allowed to remain anonymous.

Parents should stay alert to ensure the safety of their children. There are tips on the website, Parents for Megan's Law, to help parents teach their children to be safe. They also have a database of sex offenders in America that's free to the public.
