A favorite time of year for shoppers, the Sak’s Double Points Event is back for 2011 bringing some much-appreciated extra rewards for Sak’s shoppers.
The SAKSFIRST Double Points Event will take place from Thursday, August 18th through Saturday, August 20th at the Sak’s Fifth Avenue Store located at 73555 El Paseo in Palm Desert.
By using the Sak’s MasterCard outside of the event, shoppers earn up to six SAKSFIRST points for each dollar spent. During the Double Point Event, shoppers double the amount of points accumulated, allowing for an even more generous SAKSFIRST gift card later on.
SAKSFIRST gift cards can be spent on just about everything at any Sak’s store, and in their catalogs and online at Saks.com. The great part is there in no limit on the points accumulated which can be a fabulous treat when it comes to much needed wardrobe updates, birthday or anniversary gifts, or even Christmas presents. If you are going to buy anyways, you might as well be rewarded for it.
To take part in the Double Point Events, shoppers must have the Sak’s MasterCard. For those who already have the Sak’s Store card, you will need to stop by a Saks Fifth Avenue store or apply online to upgrade your card to the MasterCard. It’s easier than it sounds.
The biggest difference in the two cards is of course being able to participate in the Double Points Event, but with the new card you can also accumulate points from purchases made outside of Sak’s because it’s a MasterCard too. And when your statement comes at the end of your billing cycle, your Sak’s purchases are listed separately from your MasterCard purchases for easy expense tracking.
If you are already a SAKSFIRST member and you upgrade your card to the new MasterCard, you will retain your current points and benefits and will receive additional benefits with the new program.
