An enhanced version of "Saints Row IV" and a standalone adventure set in the “Saints Row IV” universe, “Gat Out of Hell” were announced for current generation and next generation consoles and PC at the Penny Arcade Expo, publisher Deep Silver confirmed today in a press release obtained by Examiner.

In "Gat Out of Hell," gamers will be able to play as either Johnny Gat or Kinzie Kensington, and will embark on a quest through hell in order to save the leader of the Third Street Saints’ soul. Along the way, you’ll meet what Deep Silver said are “historical icons, old friends, older enemies, a talking gun, a full-length musical number and a whole lot of other shenanigans,” as well as the Devil himself.

That news comes after Deep Silver also revealed that "Saints Row IV" will also head to next-gen consoles in the form of "Saints Row IV: Re-Elected," which reportedly will have enhanced graphics and come with all previous DLC for the title available at purchase.

"Saints Row IV: Re-Elected" and “Gat out of Hell” from Deep Silver will launch on Jan. 27, 2015 in the Americas and Jan. 30, 2015 in international territories for last gen and new gen console platforms and PC.
