An online retailer is now taking pre-orders for the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Saints Row 4.” According to a listing update from Amazon on March 17, the latest installment from the “Saints Row” franchise has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price tag of $59.99 on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, which is the same price for most new high-definition releases. “Saints Row 4,” which was officially announced last week, is being developed by Volition, the same studio behind the previous entries in the series. They are also responsible for the “Red Faction” franchise. Deep Silver will be responsible for publishing the open-world action-adventure video game after acquiring the rights from THQ, who had to file for bankruptcy and sell off their assets.
“Saints Row 4” will be released for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on Aug. 20.
