The New Orleans Saints suffered their first loss of the season on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, as the New England Patriots defeated them 30-27. Luckily, the Saints have a bye week coming up before their next game because tight end Jimmy Graham will need the time to heal after suffering a leg injury in the game.
During the fourth quarter, Graham ended a play hobbling and went off to the sideline. Not long after that, he headed back to the locker room before the game was over.
As of now, the team is calling it an undisclosed leg injury, but there is nothing more that has been revealed. There probably won't be any more news until Monday.
Graham headed to the sideline and got his lower left leg taped up before heading back out on the field. Not long after though, he left the field with trainers.
This was the first time that Graham had been held without a reception since a game during his rookie season of 2010.
Week seven is a bye week for the Saints and that means Graham will have more time to rest and heal up. The same can be said for both running back Darren Sproles and defensive end Cameron Jordan, who alos left the game with minor injuries.
