Saint Patrick's Day season drinks

First up is the Irish Car Bomb. This is the perfect drink for the morning after, or the morning of..

Ingredients

  • 3/4 pint Guiness
  • 1/2 shot Irish cream
  • 1/2 shot Irish whiskey

Prep
Pour equal parts Irish cream then Irish whiskey into shot glass. Pour the beer into a pint glass 3/4 of the way full and let settle. Drop the shot glass into the Guinness and immediately drink it all as fast as you can (it will curdle if you let it, so do not let it).

Next up, The Upside Down Traffic Light. This drink is a layered shooter.

Ingredients

Equal parts

  • Grenadine
  • Licor 43
  • Midori

Prep
Pour Grenadine into a shot glass a 1/3 full. Place a spoon on top of shot glass and slowly pour Licor 43 over the top of the backside of the spoon so that it gently layers atop the Grenadine to about 2/3 full. Next, repeat spoon process with Midori filling the remainder of the shot glass.

My next two drinks are simple, and so I will group them together.
Bushmills Irish Whiskey or Jameson Irish Whiskey. These are for the late, last, end of the night before bed drink order. Any Irish Whiskey will do the trick. You just want to make sure the whiskey you choose is both Irish Whiskey, and very recognizably Irish, like Paddy Irish Whiskey.

Quick and simple;
Ingredients

  • Irish Whiskey, and a drop of spring water

Prep
Pour into glass. Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!
