Albuquerque may not be known for its large Irish population. In fact unlike many other cities Albuquerque doesn't even host a Saint Patrick's Day parade. However Albuquerque is certainly no stranger to a good time, and Saint Patty's Day is a sure bet for a fun night out.

Here are just a few of the fun things going on in Albuquerque this Saint Patrick's Day. O'Niell's Irish Pub on 4310 Central SE is always in the Irish spirit, but with Saint Patrick's Day on Wednesday, O'Niell's has stepped it up a notch and is celebrating the "joyous occasion" all week.

The Launchpad will be hosting a few aptly named acts Wednesday evening for its Saint "Punktricks" Day event.  For only $5 dollars you can enjoy a medley of musical acts such as Coke is better with Bourbon

For a fun all ages affair the St. James Tea Room will be hosting "A Bit of Blarney" Wednesday evening. The event will feature the Celtic sounds of Blarney Stone. Visit the St. James Tea Room's web site for more information on this event including ticket prices.

Whatever you decide to do this Saint Patrick's Day you're going to want to look good doing it. So to avoid those pesky pinchers in your life go boldly green.
