Trisha N. Shelton, 29, a Girl Scout leader in Saint Charles was sentenced last week after a conviction for stealing over from her own scout troop. She was charged with a felony and pleaded guilty to several counts of theft. Reportedly, Shelton forged another person's signature to write checks to herself. She used the stolen money for her own needs. She was ordered to serve 2 years of probation and fined over $500 in restitution. She has since been let go from the Scouts.
