Event: Saint Arnold Spring Bock Pub Crawl
Location: Houston Heights
Date and Time: Saturday, February 22, 2014 starting at 2 p.m.
Saint Arnold’s annual Spring Bock Pub Crawl is just a couple of days away and this year, it will include an additional stop for added fun. The establishments slated for crawling are:
- BB's Cafe
- Christian's Tailgate
- Public House Heights
- Jimmy's Ice House
- Little Woodrow's
- City Oven
With a final, 6 p.m. stop at:
- Onion Creek
This pub crawl will stick to the usual “open house” plan, which means that pub crawlers can visit the first seven stops in any order they choose. However, it is important that everyone start the crawl between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to get a ticket. After 3 p.m., no tickets will be handed out.
At 6 p.m., everyone will gather at the final stop, Onion Creek. The prize for completing the pub crawl will be a Saint Arnold pint glass. Designated drivers are also eligible for the pint glass reward for completing all of the stops on the crawl.
There is one additional feature to the 2014 pub crawl. To make it easier to crawl from place to place, The Wave shuttle service is going to transport thirsty but possibly weary crawlers from place to place between the hours of 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. For the low price of just $5, pub crawlers can enjoy their beer and forgo the legwork. Just park at the lot located at 1525 Silver Street and let the Wave do the rest.
Saint Arnold’s Spring Bock Pub Crawl is one of the largest of the year and the good guys and gals at St. Arnold look forward to crawling, er, riding with you from one tavern to the next as we celebrate the transition to spring. Get your babysitter lined up and have fun this weekend in the Houston Heights.
