Dickens on the Strand is a great time for those who have grown to love Charles Dickens and his numerous works and this year’s event will be loaded with entertainment, with parades, jugglers, and bagpipe players taking guests back in time to nineteenth century England. Vendors will sell Victorian- style crafts, jewelry, and more, all reminiscent of the English lifestyle during this important era of growth and change.

Food will be supplied by local restaurants and Houston’s own Saint Arnold Brewing, one of the events many sponsors, will be present at multiple locations throughout the event, selling the seasonal Christmas Ale and other Saint Arnold favorites. With Saint Arnold beer readily available, guests can sit back and enjoy the varied entertainment with tasty refreshments just a short walk away.

Tickets to Dickens on the Strand can be purchased at area Randall’s stores and at Bishop’s Palace at 1402 Broadway and Eighteen Seventy One at 2217 The Strand.
