Sailing Southern Ground, a floating festival hosted by Zac Brown Band, will be home to 2000 friends that value family, food, and authentic music above all else. For those of you who have been a part of the ZBB experience, you get it. You know that emotional performances, spur-of-the-moment collaborations, amazing new friendships, and incredible stories are never far around the corner.
Rather than a two-hour concert that you'll talk about for a week, Zac and the boys wanted to help bring you a vacation that you'll talk about for a lifetime. A lucky group will join ZBB for Labor Day weekend 2010, as Sailing Southern Ground will be bringing fans together from all over the globe for one hell of a good time.
The cruise will be departing from Tampa, FL on September 2nd, 2010, visiting beautiful Grand Cayman, and returning to Tampa on September 6th. While on board, fans will be treated to an incredible main stage show from your host Zac Brown Band, with many more musicians performing every type of show you could dream of. The line-up will include:
Zac Brown Band Michael Franti and Spearhead Blackberry Smoke Cadillac Sky

Joey+Rory Sonia Leigh Levi Lowrey Shawn Mullins

When not listening to awesome musical performances from great bands and solo artists, lucky cruisers will be hanging out with their closest friends on the beautiful ship Carnival Inspiration, lounging in crystal clear pools or at one of a dozen bars, eating in one of many on board restaurants, enjoying 24-hour room service, and maybe even gambling in the full service casino. The ship will leave from Tampa at four in the afternoon, and the fun will begin. Thursday night and Friday will be rocking on the ocean before arriving in Grand Cayman on Saturday. After a full day of fun on the beautiful beaches of this Caribbean hot-spot, guests will spend one more fun and music filled night and day at sea before arriving back home in Tampa on Sunday.
Zac and the guys have put together a list of their favorites that are sure to take care of every music ‘jones' a cruiser may have including, the hard southern rocking Blackberry Smoke who will open for Kid Rock on September 11 at Fort Jackson in Columbia for The Patriots Day Concert. Military gets in free, so check this link for details. Joey and Rory came to fame on CMT's Can You Duet, and feature ZBB on their new release, and for some classic smooth 70's style music with a little fun added in Yacht Rock Revue will entertain the crowd. It's surely something for everyone.
