The closest many people come to recreational waters during warmer seasons are backyard and community pools, or community ponds. If you are one of these people you may dream of sailing blue waters. This dream is sometimes beyond our budgets, unless we scale down by using model or toy boats. Why not learn how to make boats from recycled materials?

Recycle Regatta
On Saturday, June 15 from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., Cromwell Valley Park is hosting the Recycle Regatta. This program is suitable for ages 4 to 12 with an adult, and will be held at the Willow Grove Nature Education Center.

This program is $3.00 for members and $5.00 for non-members. Reservations are required to attend the program. To register call or download the appropriate form by clicking here.

Win great prizes by getting first place, first crash, Engineering, and Slow and Steady. Participants will create watercraft out of recycled items to race down Minebank Run. So join the Recycle Regatta and feel like the upper crust for once.
