SAG Foundation streaming 'Actors Living & Thriving in Local Markets' June 26

The “LifeRaft” program is part of the “Screen Actors Guild Foundation.” The “Screen Actors Guild” (SAG) & the “American Federation of Television and Radio Artists” (AFTRA) get a chance to learn from industry experts about working in the entertainment business. LifeRaft has live & recorded events that stream online at the official SAG Foundation website.

This includes Native American SAG/AFTRA members who can easily log onto the LifeRaft webpage to watch archived footage of past events (Go below for website links).

A live stream event called, “Actors Living & Thriving in Local Markets” will take place on Thursday June 26, 2014 at 6 p.m. (Pacific Time).

The email sent out to SAG/AFTRA members says, “SAG Foundation’s LifeRaft program is thrilled to present a panel populated by actors who are living and thriving in local markets.”

“Panelists will discuss such topics as working relationship with Los Angeles and local agents, traversing the landscape of auditioning in multiple local markets, and what draws actors to live outside Los Angeles and New York.”

The panelists “Living & Thriving in Local Markets” are, Chelsea Bruland (New Orleans), David House (New Mexico), Ric Reitz (Atlanta) & Ted Rooney (Portland).
