Negligent discharge is not only bad for the person who politically shoots herself in the foot - as in the case of anti-gun liberals who carry concealed weapons - it is also a danger to the community. You know, stray remarks that can hurt innocent bystanders. Responsible ownership of your anti-gun content is just as important as responsible ownership of a handgun, and elitists constantly have one carelessly going off all the time hurting their own integrity, shooting themselves in the leg. What goes off negligently is when they point fingers and they didn't know it was loaded.
I don't know if you noticed this or not this week, but several sites are reporting that conservative hosts and businesspeople are carrying concealed handguns. FOX News' Roger Ailes is reported to carry a concealed handgun in New York. Sean Hannity is reported to carry, too.
Other sources are reporting that leftist dupes are carrying handguns, too.
This shows two things: first, how the left rats out people for reasonable actions as if the actions were unreasonable, and second, how the left suddenly becomes apolitical and adopts the liberty / survival solution for the very same reason other adults do. The left is armed because they know the very same truths the liberty purists know: no one else is going to protect you, because they are not there and it isn't their duty. It's your duty.
Clearly, the news that leftist dupes carry a handgun is an admission that being armed is a personal choice of adulthood and not a political measure of clinging to guns and God, unless personal independence of others is politics. My squawk is this: The left in America makes independence political because it makes dependency political first. This control motive makes dependency a commodity to be traded with allies and other predators. That's the political aspect of it. Crisis Looting. The personal aspect is that this control makes dependency a sort of personal soothing balm for inner demons.
The greatest crimes of the left have been on the motivation to control others not out of benificence, but in order to soothe their own anxieties. Laymen sense this when they notice that liberals must have guilt. It isn't guilt: it's old wounds and anxiety in search of soothing.
From the smallest bully to the most historical tyrant, it's all about changing the external in hopes of quieting the demons within. The real damage is done when it doesn't work and is tirelessly tried again and again. And again - sometimes with force of the state, all the while exempting themselves. In their mind, they are not to be among the named accused for crimes against humanity long ago
This sort of control of others is at the core of our unsafest streets. Only independence of them will make our streets safer streets.
America has done a very good job of starving leftist radio and the hate talk of demonizing all other views. Americans patiently and quietly walked away from hate radio. It's time to do the equivalent this November.

John, no one could agree with you more but I think it is high time that writers like yourself start finding out who is carrying and publish those names. The worst being an anti-gun politician who has a concealed weapons permit and carrys. The second being one who does not but has taxpayers pay for armed bodyguards. The third worst is the one who pays for their own armed bodyguards. These people should be exposed for their "do as I say not as I do" behavior when it comes to self protection. I think the hypocrisy should be exposed over and over as the elections draw near and the exposure of their own hypocritical hysteria on the subject exposed. Until that is done these dishonest politicians will continue to stay in office promising things they cannot deliver on.
Agreed, I'd like the names of the Lefties that are carrying a handgun. We need proof or at least names... I can't send this to anyone without proof.

Diane Fienstien has a concealled carry permit, because she knows how dangerous the world is. Of course, she does not believe that freedom should be extended to everyone. After all, she is important.
By the way, I don't think any important issues will be solved by the ballot box. I think one day they will be settled by the ammo box. We had republicans running things for a while. Nothing changed. Why?

The part that is newsworthy is that they could not hide it. They had appeared to advocate gun free zones, gun control, gun bans and other issues for so long on the presumption that it was the preferred way to 'save lives', but it is now exposed that they choose our way to do that.
This totally impeaches the entire gun control movement, at least as far as elitists are concerned.
I did not miss the point: the point is that for all their claims of people who carry concealed handguns, the response is so what? The left does, too, and that's the mark.
I thought that concealed permits were not available for news media or others to "out" permitees.
The hate that emanates from the left is palpable and i don't blame any one for trying to protect themselves especially when leftists make comments like i hope Clarence Thomas's wife feeds him lots of bacon and eggs or too bad it wasn't a conservative in a plane crash. The left hates with a vengeance but says they are the tolerant ones.
