Sadie Robertson from "Duck Dynasty" will be appearing on the new season of "Dancing with the Stars," according to a Wednesday report on US Magazine. Reportedly, the 17-year-old daughter of Duck Commander CEO Willie Robertson has always wanted to compete on the popular show. Robertson will be participating in the 19th season of “Dancing with the Stars,” which will debut on Sept. 15 on ABC.
Sadie Robertson has been very outspoken about her Christian faith on Twitter and other venues. The young model also co-hosts an online devotional show for teen girls called, “I Am Different,” in which she encourages modesty and not conforming to the world around you. It would be expected that she will maintain some standards in her costume for the show, which normally features very risqué ensembles.
Robertson has also admitted that she knows that many other young girls are looking up to her, according to Blu-Brain. She has even designed some clothes for teens who want to dress modestly. So, her personal integrity is somewhat on the line with this appearance on “Dancing with the Stars.” Judging from what fans have seen of her character thus far, it is safe to say that Sadie Robertson will stay true to who she is and what she believes.
The other contestants for Season 19 of "Dancing with the Stars" will be revealed on “Good Morning America,” on Sept. 4. “Duck Dynasty” fans will surely be watching this season and cheering on Sadie Robertson, and it is fairly certain there will be some beards in the audience from time to time. When Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol was on the show, it was the former vice-presidential candidate’s appearances that created the conversations. So, we can look forward to all the excitement of the Robertsons in the audience!
