Hack-and-Slash RPG “Sacred 3” is now available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 gaming consoles, as well as Windows PC, the game’s developer, Deep Silver, announced in a press release obtained by Examiner today.
In addition to being available in stores, the game is also available for download on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.
Last week, Deep Silver revealed new launch screens that shows the “best played with friends” adventure in a variety of locations including the inside and outside of a temple-like structure, as well the top of an icy mountain. (You can check those screenshots out at the top of this article.)
Featuring classic drop in, drop out cooperative multiplayer for both offline (two players) and online (four players), “Sacred 3” features five different classes of characters and upgradable weapons. The game also features online leaderboards and mission stat tracking.
“Sacred 3” also includes the new Malakhim class and the Underworld Story DLC at launch. According to Deep Silver, the DLC will have gamers face off against a familiar face from “Sacred 2.”
One of the most underrated hack-and-slack experiences in gaming, the “Sacred” series traces its origins to 2004. The second game in series, “Sacred 2” was released in 2009 and sold over 500,000 copies worldwide on the Xbox 360.
