The Sacramento Surge will play in the Major Arena Soccer League this season. Sacramento played in PASL (Professional Arena Soccer League) during its first two years as a franchise and have joined the new league. Earlier this year, several teams from the MISL (Major Indoor Soccer League) left and have joined the PASL. Since the reorganization of the indoor soccer franchises and the addition of the new teams, the PASL has renamed themselves the MASL.

With the new league, the Surge front office is also looking forward to playing in the MASL. In the first two seasons the team played at the Off the Wall Soccer Complex (2012-2013 season with a 1-14 record) and Estadio Azteca Soccer Arena (2013-2014 season, 3-13 record). Airrick Harvey (the team's CEO) and Ryan Hopping (General Manager) are driven to field a very competitive team that will not only entertain the fans but challenge for the Pacific Division title. This year is shaping up to be a very bright one for the young franchise.

Sacramento will be playing ten home games this season and will open this year on the road November 1st against the Turlock Express. The Surge will play their home games at a new 2,000 seat indoor soccer facility located at McClellan Park. The facility seating will be expandable to accommodate additional seating. A new head coach and player tryouts will announced soon.
