The Sacramento Republic F.C. will host the Charleston Battery tomorrow night at Bonney Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 P.M. and the game is a sellout. Sacramento is looking to extend their unbeaten streak at Bonney Field to eight games (6-0-1) whilst Charleston (9-8-8) is in fifth place and is nine points behind the L.A. Galaxy II and is hoping to make a late run in the waning part of the season to move up in the postseason seeding. The Republic is only one point behind second place Richmond Kickers and have a chance to move into second with a win tomorrow night and a Kickers loss to Orange County this Saturday.
The Republic will come into this game led by their two scoring behemoth led by Rodrigo Lopez (seven goal, eight assists) and Tommy Stewart (eleven goals, three assists). The Battery is Dane Kelly who has scored seven goals. Charleston are 5-0-3 is there last eight games and are on a roll. Wednesday night's game is looking to become a real barn burner with postseason seeding on the line. The fans who have tickets for the game are going to witness a real battle between these two clubs and they are both hungry and playing some top notched soccer.
