The Sacramento Republic F.C. were on the road this weekend for a two game trip to the east coast. First game on the docket was the Rochester Rhinos. The Rhinos were riding a seven game unbeaten streak coming into Friday night's game (3-1-4) and tied with Sacramento (5-3-1) in fourth place in the USL Pro. The winner will be in sole position of fourth with a chance to move into third.

After 90 minutes of play, the Sacramento Republic defeat the Rochester Rhinos 1-0. The game was a real tight one as both teams held strong on defense with neither one giving an inch on the pitch. Both teams had scoring opportunities in the first half but neither could capitalize. The first half ended in a 0-0 tie and the second was more of the same. The Republic came out in the latter half with a strong attacking offense and Tommy Stewart found an opening in the Rhinos' defense and scored the games only goal in the seventy-fourth minute (assist by Max Alvarez).

With the win, Sacramento improves to 6-3-1 whilst the Rhino falls to 3-2-4. The Republic F.C. will now travel to Dayton, Ohio to face the Dutch Lions (2-4-2) this Sunday at 4:00 P.M. You can watch the game live online at
