Sacramento Republic F.C. lose their friendly with U.C. Davis 1-0

The Sacramento Republic F.C. lost to the U.C. Davis Mens Soccer Club 1-0 in a Sunday afternoon friendly. U.C. Davis scored the only goal of the game that came in the 65th minute (by forward Sam Hoeck). A sellout crowd was announced as 1,375 fans packed the Aggie Soccer Field to witness the victory for the home team. Both sides played a tight defensive game that was ultimately decided in the waning minutes of the game.

Sacramento will host the a practice scrimmage against St. Mary's College this Wednesday afternoon at 4 PM on the campus of Cosumnes River College. Attendance to the game is free but seats are limited and it'll cost $1 to park on campus. The friendly will be located on CRC's soccer field which seats a couple of hundred fans.
