The Sacramento Republic F.C. lost their "friendly" with the Major League Soccer team the San Jose Earthquakes 2-0 Wednesday night. San Jose's second team scored two goals in the final five minutes to defeat the upstart USL Pro Sacramento Republic F.C. in front of 1,100 fans at Warrior Stadium (located on the campus of California State University of Stanislaus). Earthquakes' J.J. Korval and Billy Schuler scored the only goals of the game. Sacramento played a tough game against their MLS affiliate and impressed many of the fans in the crowd who cheered on the Republic F.C.
