Sacramento Republic F.C dominates the L.A. Galaxy II with a 3-0 victory

Sacramento Republic F.C. heads back from from their two game road trip with a 3-0 victory over the L.A. Galaxy. Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Blues was a distant memory as Sacramento came out of the gate with a dominating performance not only shutting out the Galaxy but dealing them their first loss of the season. Mickey Daly scored the first goal of the game in the 33rd minute (with an assist from Tommy Stewart). Max Alvarez and Dakota Collins scored a goal each in the 3-0 win. Dominik Jakubek earned his first win of the season as a starter in front of the net whilst making a save.

The Republic (2-1-1) is back on the road April 19th to face fellow expansion team the Arizona United S.C. (0-1-0) at the Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria, Arizona. Sacramento is back at home on April 26th to host the Harrisburg City Islanders in their home opener. The game will be held at Hughes Stadium with tickets starting at just $6. The Republic F.C. will play three games at the old stadium until their new soccer arena will be finished located at Cal Expo.
