Sacanime covention at the Sacramento Convention center

All Anime fans this is the time to come and play in Sacramento. This Japenese influenced pop culture has fun for the entire family. There are events which include live concerts, vendors, karaoke contests, masquerade, a lolita tea party, maid cafe, video game tournaments, artists, and other types of workshops.

Anime is the Japanese version of Disney characters. The earliest known Japanese animation dates to 1917. The charcteristic anime style was developed in the 1960's. Osamu Tezuka was one of the more notable artists. Only after 1980's did this type of animation become popular outside of Japan.

Similiar to Disney, handdrawn and computer generated animation exist in this style of characterization. The convention in Sacramento allows enthusiasts to enjoy or discover this type of contemporary art.

Special guests will be Kevin Conroy the voice of Batman, Liam O' Brian from Resident Evil, Maile Flanagan of Naruto and Jakers, Hynden Walch of Adventure Time and Teen Titans and many more according to the promised agenda.

The Convention will last from Friday 1-4- Sunday 1-6, 2013. The admission is $40 dollars for the entire weekend, or $20 for Friday, $30 for Saturday, and $15 for Sunday. The time is Fri Noon- 1 A.M., Sat 10 A.M.- 1 A.M., Sun 9 A.M. - 6 P.M.
