SAC Fashion Week kicked off Sunday night at the Mix downtown. With a forum Monday eve, and two workshops today, the Sacramento community should be primed for a midweek show, the first of its kind - an event for fashion and film lovers.
Tomorrow, Feb. 27, California Film Foundation (CFF), in association with Sacramento Fashion Week, presents a one-night-only V.I.P event, Fashion On Film.
Fashion On Film (F.O.F.) highlights fashion talent through the lens of cinema and invites fans of both disciplines to appreciate regional artists in a never before seen way. This collaboration will showcase local film shorts, depicting fashion and music industries. In addition, scheduled musical guests the female group sensation, Bellatre and a surprise musical guest.
Presented at the Fusion Arts Center from 7 to 9:30pm, the F.O.F event will include DJ performances, mini fashion shows, and a complete no-host bar will provide guests a celebration for all the senses as well as a spotlight of home-grown cinema and fashion that attendees must simply see to believe.
This VIP event is an official part of Sac Fashion Week 2013 and helps forward the mission of growing demand for local beauty and fashion products in our region. Likewise, CFF events such as the upcoming Sacramento Film Festival (April 2013) grow the appreciation of Cinema as art. So come, meet the artists, see live fashion, and enjoy what will surely be one of our masterpiece events to combine creativity and diversity, Fashion On Film.
