Sac-Con 2013 a remarkable experience

Thousands of Science Fiction and Fantasy fans attended Sac-Con’s annual Comic, Toy, and Anime convention on March 3, 2013. Many of the fans claimed that it was Sac-Con’s best convention yet.

With special guests such as John DiMaggio (the voice of “Bender” on the hit television show Futurama), Ron Lim (comic book writer of such Marvel comics as Spiderman and Fantastic Four), and many others, attendees were more than satisfied to meet and greet their glorified fantasy fiction contributors.

Also, as part of the event, guests participated in some retro gaming competitions that began with such classic arcade games as Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom.

For the collectible card gamers of classic games such as Magic the Gathering, a section of tables was reserved in the back corner of the Scottish Rite Masonic Center for gamers to enjoy playing their favorite games with their fellow competitors.

Overall, like last year and the years before, Sac-Con’s annual convention was yet another enjoyable and entertaining experience for all those interested in the genre of Science Fiction and Fantasy.
