The Buffalo Sabres hit the road on Sunday, March 3rd, heading to Madison Square Garden to take on the New York Rangers at 7:30 p.m. It’s their only game in Manhattan during the lockout-shortened 2013 NHL season.
Madison Square Garden, also known as MSG or simple "The Garden," is located between Seventh and Eighth Aves. between 31st and 33rd Streets in Manhattan. MSG is also home to the New York Knicks of the NBA as well as host to a number of concerts and special events throughout the year, such as the recent Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.
MSG is home to The Club Bar and Grill, located on the third floor terrace level; it is open to Club seat holders two hours before game time and to all patrons for an hour following games. MSG also offers a variety of concession stands throughout the building, serving pizza, fries, chicken specialties, sushi, coffee, beer and mixed drinks.
Tickets for the upcoming Sabres/Rangers game are now available through www.ticketmaster.com, ranging in price from $40 to $1,240 (plus taxes and fees).
