The Buffalo Sabres head to the province of Quebec to face the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday, February 2nd (2 p.m. face-off). They return to Montreal twice more this season – Tuesday, March 19th (7:30 p.m. face-off) and Saturday, March 23rd (7 p.m. face-off) – and host the Canadians in Buffalo on Thursday, February 7th and Thursday, April 11th (both games 7 p.m.).
The Bell Centre, located at 1909 avenues des Canadiens-de-Montreal, was formerly the Molson Centre; the arena is still owned by the Molson family, who also owns the team. Capacity for hockey at the arena is 21,273, the largest of any NHL arena. There are also three other configurations for concerts and special events, with seating capacity ranging from 2,000 to 15,000.
There are four restaurants at the Bell Centre: La Mise au Jeu, a 300-seat upscale restaurant (members only); La Mise as Jeu Bar & Lounge, featuring hand-carved meats, fresh baked breads, and drinks (open to the public); Restaurant 9-4-10, a 190-seat members-only dining area featuring culinary offerings and an extensive wine list; and La Cage aux Sports, one of the largest sports bars in Montreal, with over 70 TVs, Canadians memorabilia, and room for up to 550 people.
