The Buffalo Sabres travel to St. Louis, Missouri and the Scottrade Center to meet Ryan Miller and the St. Louis Blues on Thursday, April 3rd at 8 p.m. ET.
The Scottrade Center, formerly known as the Keil Center and the Savvis Center, opened in October 1994. Located at 1401 Clarke Ave. – which also goes by "16 Brett Hull Way" – the arena seats over 19,000 spectators for hockey. The arena is often used for NCAA college events, having hosted Frozen Four Hockey (2007), Wrestling (2000, 2004, 2005, 2008, 2009 and 2012) and Women's Final Four Basketball (2001 and 2009); it also hosted second and third round match-up in this year’s Men’s Basketball Tournament. Hosting approximately 175 events each year, the arena draws almost 2 million people annually for Blues games, ice shows, concerts, pro wrestling, and more.
Scottrade Center features dozens of concession stands and carts throughout the plaza and mezzanine levels. The Top Shelf, located on the 300 Level, is a combination sports bar and food court that opens into the spectator area; fans can catch the action on the ice while also checking out other games on the televisions situated within the area. The Bud Light Zone is a 500-seat restaurant that is open to all ticketholders and opens one-hour before general doors.
Tickets for the upcoming Sabres/Blues match-up can be purchased through www.ticketmaster.com; tickets range in price from $35 to $300 (plus taxes and fees).
