The Sharks, founded in 1991, play their home games at the SAP Center at San Jose in California, better known regionally as the "Shark Tank." The arena, opened in 1993, is located at 525 West Santa Clara St.; it is also the home of the San Jose Sabercats of the Arena Football League. The arena seats over 17,500 spectators for hockey.
The Grill at SAP Center at San Jose is open to all ticket holders (please call in advance for reservations and to make sure it is open), and there are a variety of concessions available throughout the arena. Options on the Concourse include Rio Adobe (tacos, burritos, and nachos), Gordon Biersch (garlic fries and chicken strips), Panda Express (beef, chicken and spring rolls) and Round Table (pizza, hot dogs and fries). Club-level concessions include carving stations, pasta and salad stations and Armadillo Willy’s BBQ Special.
Tickets for the upcoming Sabres/Sharks match-up are available through www.ticketmaster.com; tickets range in price from $46 to $264 (plus taxes and fees).
