The Buffalo Sabres will visit Ottawa, Ontario, Canada to take on the Senators twice during the 2013-14 NHL season: Thursday, December 12th and Thursday, February 6th; face-off time for both games is 7:30 p.m.
Canadian Tire Centre – formerly Scotiabank Place, the Corel Centre and the Palladium – opened its doors in January of 1996. The arena, located at 1000 Palladium Dr. off Highway 417, seats more than 19,000 spectators for hockey and is also home to the Ottawa 67s of the Ontario Hockey League and the Ottawa SkyHawks of the National Basketball League of Canada, which began play in fall 2013. It is also home to the Ottawa Sports Hall of Fame.
Canadian Tire Centre currently houses a number of dining options, including the upscale sports bar Bert’s, The Ledge Carvery and Bar and the Molson Canadian Brew Pub – and of course, two Tim Hortons. Restaurant fare ranges from sandwiches and salads to prime rib and steak, depending on your hunger and budget.
Tickets are on sale now for the Sabres/Sens match-ups and are available through the Senators’ website of the Canadian Tire Centre website, listed below.
