The Buffalo Sabres hit the road for a scary match-up against the New York Rangers on Thursday, October 31st (7 p.m. start). They return to Manhattan toward the end of the season, on Thursday, April 10th (7 p.m. start).
Madison Square Garden, also known as MSG or simple "The Garden," is located at 4 Pennsylvania Plaza, between Seventh and Eighth Aves. and 31st and 33rd Streets in Manhattan. MSG is also home to the New York Knicks of the NBA and will once again be home to the New York Liberty of the WNBA, beginning in 2014. The Garden also hosts a number of concerts and special events throughout the year, such as the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. The arena seats just over 17,000 spectators for hockey.
MSG is home to The Club Bar and Grill, located on the third floor terrace level; it is open to Club seat holders two hours before game time and to all patrons for an hour following games. MSG also offers a variety of concession stands throughout the building, serving hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, fries, chicken sandwiches, coffee, ice cream and more.
Tickets for the upcoming Sabres/Rangers game are now available through www.ticketmaster.com, with ticket prices starting at $50 (plus taxes and fees).
