On Tuesday, June 10 the Buffalo Sabres announced that their annual summer development camp will take place from July 14 through July 18 at the First Niagara Center.

This will mark the third year that the Sabres’ Summer Development Camp will be held at the First Niagara Center.

On-ice sessions during the week will be open to the public, including an intra-squad “Blue & Gold Scrimmage” on Tuesday, July 15, at 7 p.m.

Approximately 40 Buffalo Sabres prospects are expected to participate, including their 2014 NHL Draft Selections, which will be selected at the NHL Draft in Philadelphia on June 27 and 28. A preliminary camp roster will be released in early July.

The following is a tentative schedule for on-ice workouts at the First Niagara Center for development camp:

Monday, July 14

  • On-ice coach’s practice: 10 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

Tuesday, July 15

  • Pre-scrimmage skates: 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
  • Blue & Gold Scrimmage: 7 p.m.

Wednesday, July 16

  • Off Day

Thursday, July 17

  • Practice/on-ice testing: 10 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

Friday, July 18

  • Practice/three-on-three tournament: 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
