Known as the most important culinary event of the Island and the Caribbean, Saborea Puerto Rico returns this weekend to the magical setting of the Escambrón beach to offer a weekend of culinary extravaganza on April 3-6, 2014. Organized by the Puerto Rico Hotel & Tourism Association (PRHTA), this event has been gathering the best of the culinary talent on one stage for the enjoyment of locals and visitors.
“This year we will have the best of the local talent offering live demonstrations of their best dishes, and major international figures like Deborah Mazar and Gabriell Corcos from Extra Virgin on the Cooking Channel; Susie Jiménez from the 7th edition of The Next Food Network Star; Brian Voltaggio from Top Chef & Top Chef Masters; and renowned chocolatier of Hollywood stars, Jonathan Grahm.”, said Clarisa Jiménez, President & CEO of PRHTA.
Near sixty local renowned restaurants per day will showcase their best dishes at the Great Tasting Pavilion. All kinds of dishes can be found at the pavilion, along with a wide range of rums, wines, beers, spirits, coffees and desserts. An atmosphere of camaraderie surrounds the distilled spirits and beers tasting pavilion, where attendees can savor these drinks while learning about its history and processes. Saborea Puerto Rico is a great opportunity to get to know the wide variety and depth of what the local culinary scene has to offer.
