Crytek will deliver four add-on packs to Ryse: Son of Rome which will bring a total of 14 multiplayer maps, a brand-new mode, six player skins, new level events and access to a new tier of weapon and armor. These packs can be purchased separately as they are released or as part of the Season Pass for $19.99, which is a 25 percent savings over buying individually according to Microsoft's press release.
Those that purchase the Season Pass will also receive an in-game sword and shield that provides bonus attributes in multiplayer.
Multiplayer in Ryse: Son of Rome is set to the tune of Roman gladiators in the Coliseum. Players can play alone or co-operatively to face waves of enemies and challenges as the floor of the arena shifts and changes to reveal new dangers and entertain the crowd. The game will launch with eleven maps initially with a bonus map available for those that pick up the Day One Edition.
Ryse: Son of Rome launches on Nov. 22 alongside the Xbox One.
